Lol, probably not happening but I wouldn't mind being in Powell for a summer. The best I could do is drop the truck off one weekend, get whatever I could done, and then come back up the following weekend to finish it.

    What did you make? $10?

I am working with the toads again...the opportunities are greater than a few extra bucks per hour working elsewhere.

10 the first two weeks. Once you're liscensed you get a raise to either 11.50 or 12. Can't remember. Then .25-.50 raise every month.

I'll be at nearly 17 an hour this summer for returning two years in a row.

I dropped the truck off. Mandatory $115 to have them look at it. They didn't seem to thrilled that I had it diagnosed already or that I was throwing around the word warranty like crazy.

Haha they should be. Won't be getting paid if they don't warranty it.

Never! Baby taco is going no where! If you fix her ill let you wheel her over summer.

I would probably do the same thing they wanted to and make a mini house to live in until I get a full time job.

That bus is sweet! There is a clean old school runner for 5k around here. If he lowered the price i would be tempted.

Alright, I talked about this a lot and have finally figured out the proper course of action. I have mentioned before that my roommate has a old volvo in the garage. It has been sitting since I moved here and she wants to sell it for $500-600. I am going to talk to her when she gets back. It's a solid running car that for whatever reason I think is sweet. It's so ugly it's cool.

I am going to offer to buy it and use the space it takes up in the garage to pull the engine out of baby t. Roll the truck out into the drive way, tarp her, and get to work. The car is probably going to need tires (not really but rwd and summer tires = death) and for sure needs a battery. Ill drive this bad boy as a DD for work in the summer to keep the miles low on the 35's...plus it probably gets better mpg .

The car is a 1986 (i think) volvo 740 gle. This is the non turbo version :pout: but there is a pretty lively community for them :D. I knew that car had potential.

Just a google pic I found looking to see what people do to them. I would never let her sell that car for $500 . Hell I was pissed when she listed it at $600...a working car should be $1000 minimum.
