    alive, hit up another dealer, get two or more working to get you a truck. Unless they require a down then your free to go with whoever gets you what you want. Good luck man! I know this is maddening and extremely frustrating , I still can not believe I am willing to pay almost 40k for a truck and Im not sitting in one yet! Though when it shows up I will be sleeping in the bed!

    I don't recall if I called Mossy but couple others including El Cajon were a no go. Escondido never hesitated and have been great to work with. Only about 45 minutes away so I'm good with it.

    Probably not what you want to hear, but I ordered the same model, OR DC LB 4x4 on Oct. 29, 2015. Still waiting...Dealer has tried one BOS change which didn't take. This truck is damn near impossible to get (at least in California).

    New to the site but been a BMW forum member for 10+ years now.

    Ordered a BBP ORDCSB 2 weeks ago from a local dealership in PA. Was told build date is Feb. 2nd. Can't wait to get the truck! I currently have a 2001 Taco that I will be selling when the new one arrives.

    Have you heard anything at all? Meaning, was your order confirmed with a build date, and now you're waiting for that day to come - or are you still at square one? Curious too if you've contacted multiple dealers, or just stayed with this one outfit all along here?
    Toyota should have made clear, upon order, that this rig is just not happening. Seriously.

    Not quite square one, as I'm first in line at this dealer for a truck and supposedly they are trying to get it every chance they get, but no build date or anything. I did A LOT of research and contacting dealers before ordering - a little hard to start over since this dealer offered almost $3000 less than any other. He's 400 miles away from me which is a pain...

    Not sure if these details are widely known, but here's what my dealer gave me today (Ordered a TRD Sport DCLB 4x4 w/ Tech pkg and JBL in Barcelona Red on 1/15)

    Toyota lets the dealers know of what will be available to reserve about every 15 days or so; in other words, what they will be building in the coming production cycle. Depending on what you order, you may get lucky and get picked up right after your order, or like me, have to wait until Toyota starts building your model again.

    The dealer told me that they are finishing the month out producing SR5 Access Cabs, though I'm not sure how reliable this is.

    So I'll continue waiting until my reservation can get locked in..
