Duratracs are great tires but my only warning is they are still a little hard for great snow and ice wheeling. Any traction aids in your drive train? What size are you considering?

One of the biggest reasons for a drop in mileage is going to 10 ply totes (e range) and it adds 15-30 lbs rotating unsprung mass to each wheel.
I went with 275/60r20 with xd128 rims for a fuel efficient 33" tire that was capable.
P rated tires have more load capacity then c range tires l, ride better and air down easier for best traction. Plus they are cheaper

@Kyitty where I live I am constantly driving in the snow. I have 285/75/16 duratracs and I cannot say enough good things about them (packed, powder, ice). I have run BFG AT and KM2 and neither compare to duratracs in winter conditions.. The only better snow tire you can get... is a winter specific snow tire (in my opinion).

In fact, I'm having a hard time justifying getting a different set once these wear out.

    Hope that helps.

Just got my baby's window tinted and it feels like a new truck again! Great small thing you can do to your truck to fall in love again!

I look at this thread all the time to try to find white tacos that I like to make me like my white one more. I used to have a black one and I miss that color so much. Maybe its a good thing...it keeps me from spending more money on mods for my truck because I dont want to put more money into a color I dont like. Probably gotta stick it out for a few more years though until I can get a new(er) one.
