A bit more expensive than building your own. But you get rugers warranty which is awesome.

Depends on if you want instant gratification or not, lol.

I'd go for the Ruger for the warranty, and then build one later.
Actually, that's what I did do. Just got an M&P Sport and I will likely build one next winter.

So kind of random, but what the hell happened to Billy? I haven't seen him since around Thanksgiving...
Did he abandon us for the Jeep forums?

The Rugers seem to be flooding the market rite now. Everyone is getting them in.. When I purchased my AR during tax weekend I was dead set on an M&P or a Ruger, left with neither brand. I didn't like the amount of "play" the ruger had and to get some of the stuff I wanted I had to jump up to the more expensive M&P. Point is go play with em talk to guys about em. Building one is the way to go if you don't need that instant gratification....

    Howdy all.
Looks like I'm not getting any snow this weekend; the weather dicks are saying it's all going to pass to the south and go out to sea. :annoyed:

Where I am (lower Connecticut) is forecasted for 6-10 but I doubt we will get the 10. I was hoping Vermont would be getting some for us skiers.

I was hoping for the same thing in eastern Maine. It's not going to get anything from this storm but it looks good over the next 2 weeks

EP = Environmental Police; or you could call them by their proper name New Hampshire Conservation Officer

I was a little confused also. Are they really that strict there?

I've never come across anyone in the woods . Then again I don't own a sled . Never when I'm fishing or wheeling .

Apparently Rob's sled just isn't fast enough to out run them

Yes they are. After I got pulled over with the lights on and siren blazing on a snowmobile and given a $75 speeding ticket that would go against my license if I did not pay it. I have NEVER gone back to NH to ride! Try riding at only 45 mph on a sled. GL. No speed limit at all in Maine. I have heard (but I have never seen) that they set up cones around corners and if you knock them over they can ticket you for not riding in control. The guys in Maine are very cool. I have meet guys from the North woods law show out patrolling, all they care about is that you have your sled registered and no loud exhaust (which I have).
