What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I had sippy cups when my kids were small but wow, pretty cool you trained yours to drink from a dog bowl. Just don't let child protective services see them drinking... they're really funny about that kind of stuff.

 

Times have changed. I even keep them on a leash and make them poop in the yard. Here's a pic of Odus and Layla the 1st day we owned our '10 Prerunner. I sure do miss that face. He was a good friend.

 

get the factory fitted mats! they are a lot cheaper and work and look the same!

Not according to the research I've done. True, they are $60 cheaper (unless you know a guy) and do look similar from a few feet away. Far better fit and coverage with the aftermarket mats and the Weather Techs lead that pack. I also have a set in the current truck and could not be more pleased.

You are correct. My Husky Weatherbeaters fit much better than the Toyota all-weather they wanted to put in.

 

Do these really work? Do they hold a charge (charge it > pack it > forget about it)? I think I'd feel uneasy without my jumpers, but they do take up a lot of room. And don't to shit unless you have another vehicle—and willing person—around to help out.

First I have to figure out how to remove the sr grille

I took off the two top bolts, 2 top release tabs, and 4 release tabs on the bottom that may or may not of needed to come off..

Still hung up somewhere... But I can't find/reach where.

Nevermind. Just had to pull harder.

 

i just put in the factory fitted ones and they fit the exact same as the weather techs. the dealership i went to let me test fit both and i ended up getting the factory fitted for $90 out the door. but hey, what ever floats your boat!

 

Yes they do work exceptionally well and hold a charge long term. Just top 'em off every few months according to my research. I had no idea these existed before last week. I demoed one (similar yet not as capable as this) on the wife's fully dead Matrix S before I bought mine and highly recommend it. The current sale price does not suck either. Room and weight is always a concern of mine. The ability to be self reliant is also a big deal to me. All of these things were addressed in this unit.

There's a photo in the Husky and Weathertech availability thread that shows the factory all-weather liner swallowed up by a Weathertech. The footprint of the others is huge compared to factory.

And I love it. I dont have a taco (yet) so but it jumps my 2002 Escape in the middle of winter perfectly. Better then the jump box I got from Autozone that died within a year. I would high recommend.

 

Just noticed a big ass screw in my rear driver side tire and its about an inch away from the sidewall.... I guess its the perfect excuse to slap on some 265/75/16 cooper stt pro's lol.

 

An inch in from the sidewall might be enough for a patch or plug. Unless you really want to spend the money on the Coopers.

Interesting, because the new style they put on mine are great, go up the sides and Over the sill plates just like the Weathertech ones only in rubber, real happy with them. I think the older style did not look like the new ones as even the service manager liked them.
