    Okay so here's the deal...I'm going to start another couple of lists which may or may not make it onto the OP.

    The situation, which has been previously mentioned, is thus: we currently have about 46 trucks on the camping list. The Holder Mine Campground only has about 15-20 RV sites and there's no guarantee we will have the campground to or selves. Those of us going early are going to try to spread out as much as possible to to occupy as many RV sites as possible. Those of you coming later might want to try to buddy up with an early arrival to share a site. I'll start with the folks I know off the top of my head will be there early. Just cut and paste the lists into a new post and add yourself on your preferred spot. I think @michaelrussell and @Alfuh will be there early, but I'm not positive.

    Really couldn't say much about the hand-helds. If you're not much into extra antennas, you could do a dome mount like mine and just take the antenna off when you aren't using it. That way there's no wires hanging or anything.

    Ok I will look into it some more. I really like the idea of the walkie type. I might buy one and see if it works. If it doesn't ill just send it back lol. If not ill look into the removable antenna. Thanks

    What route you taking? 95? Turnpike?? Either one passes my house. I get out of work at 5 so them I need to get the remanded of stuff in truck including my son and wife and yes in that order.

    In fairness, most antennas are removable. They even have quick disconnects for them. It's just the dome mount is a little less obtrusive than the other types. ;)

    Headers, K&N intake, Lifted, 4.56 gears via ECGS. Locked in front, LSD in the rear
    I have a midland portable CB, or wallow style with a removable magnetic antenna that mounts on cab(or where you like it). It does the job for the most part. I know what's going on in the convoy up ahead. If convoy is larger say over 20 trucks I sometimes cannot hear the front of the pack specially in wooded thicker wooded parts. But again it works and for the most part I'm in contact and can communicate at anytime. Think it ran me $65
