@DIRT YOTA i did that swap in my old 5 lug. It was a direct fit except the hole for one of the legs wasnt threaded so i used a bolt and nut under the truck. I dont think i had to drill it out. Super easy swap though, took me all of 20min

Stuff and things that make it better.
You will have to drill out one new hole per seat.

Does anyone here have experience with Bulldog Winches? I have a buddy that can get a good deal on a 9.5k w/ synthetic line, but I'm hesitant to jump on it because I can't find any tests done on their products.

What kind of price range are you looking at? The Come-Up 9 series was just on sale for about $950 including the synthetic line, billet fairlead, and wireless remote.

@SilverGhost Is the sensor for the 4x4 indicator on the passenger side of the transfer case up by the driveshaft!? Like a black three prong plug? I pulled the piece off the transfer case and there is supposed to be a little ball on a nipple that protrudes out of the transfar case! I will have to mess with that ball to make the light work I guess right? If you know what I'm talking about! And I need to take pictures of the plugs still!

While youre here... When you reinstalled the actuator/locker motor back on the axle did it slide right back in the splines of that gear that engages the locker I was wanting to pull mine to make sure the gear on the actuator itself is turning because my light won't stay solid but I read if you don't install it right you will mess up that gear or something but I was gonna ask you how your reinstall went?!

I was hoping to spend around $600-$700, but have looked at winches in the $800-$900 range. I've been eyeballing warn m8000 w/ synthetic line quite a bit.

I haven't really looked into smittybilt given the horror stories floating around the internet about them. Can't really beat $450, or $399 as @m3bassman pointed out. I was more concerned with their reliability than I was their cost. I know there is a ton of people who use them, though.

Get Synth line though. So much better than steel cable. Definitely worth the extra 150 bucks.
