Foozer. Think about it. Are you really gonna wheel it? Or like most people just occasionally. LEAVE IT STOCK. Just MO.

It's true, I'll probably only be wheeling it maybe once a month or two. My main thing is that at some angles I feel like my truck has sooo much rake. Most people say it rides better too so that's a plus, but I'm still on the fence about it.

So just do a strut spacer ( leveling lift). Yes I know that to the purest this may offend some. But over the many yrs that I been wheeling there's been many of my friends with FJ's and all kinds of truck that have used them. Less than $100. Then alignment.

The coils are side specific. Even then there is a lean. Not enough for most people to notice though. Usually about a half inch.

Save yourself buying your lift twice. I hated my spacer lift. Ended up with 5100s set to .85 just like you're wanting and the ride is night and day better, especially on really choppy washboard roads. If I had the cash for 884s I would've sprung for them, but being a single parent, I had to stop somewhere

I just went with a TRD Pro Suspension kit with an ICON AAL on my 2015. It added 1.75 to the front and 1 1/2 to the rear, so it has a slightly less rake than stock, but some rake which I like. The TRD parts are stock Toyota components, and I have had no issues. The truck aligned within spec, and runs smooth. It feels more solid on the road. Looks bigger and stronger than before, because, well, it is. A little pricey maybe, but going with Toyota components gave me some comfort. Its a nice truck, with incredible driveability so I didn't want anything radical.

I've got 5100s set at .85 with nothing else done except an alignment. 1st pic virtually no weight in the bed. 2nd pic has around 500lbs.

I had a set of the 1/4 inch Toytec spacers that provide a 1/2 inch lift from my 2003 and had my mechanic put them in my 2012. I have no complaints or issues but the most offroad my truck sees is a few mile gravel road 3 times a year. Obviously it not .85 but it was cheap, simple and achieved my goal of leveling my truck out a little after installing airbags. And I could not justify getting new shocks on a 3 year old truck for my purposes.

Anyone else have pics of the .85? And has anyone had problems with them (vibes etc.)?

4885284501_a170e5df53_b-1.jpg I think you would even like 5100's set at 1.75 and put a 1 inch block in the back. I keep finding myself going back to this pic @j0sh. Although he doesnt have a block it's still sexy as hell.

.85" on the strut equals about 1 and 3/4 of an inch in lift.

I think he's saying ".85" lift isn't much, but it will help."

Looking for a slight lift for the wife's '11 DCSB OR Prerunner with the TSB rear springs. Truck might see a dirt road once a year, that's it. Just looking for a slightly higher stance and 265/75 tires. Sounds like 5100's set at .85 with the stock OR springs would accomplish this without the need for aftermarket UCA's?

You definitely don't need UCA's at the .85 setting. You will be able to get a great alignment at that height(and this is coming from an alignment nazi). ;)

Good to hear. We did a Toytec spacer lift on her '06 and the tires were at an awful angle.
