What do you guys think ? Some jerk pulled out of an exit from an A&W today without stopping...I had little to no time to react and to brake completely before hitting
    him (front fender and wheel).
He was driving a 95' Chrysler Cirrus  He got charged by the cops, therefore I'm not responsible. Hard to evaluate the damage from the pictures. My steering wheel is now 90 degrees off centered, passenger's wheel is shaking and truck pulls strong to the left, anti-skid light stays on, I can fit my hand between the cab and the bed on one side and on the passenger's side barely, hood is now shifted to the right, headlight still functioning but aiming down, fog light busted, bumper busted. I can't really estimate the damage underneath with the accumulation of snow and salt. Tried to drive it but is very difficult to drive above 40 mph, the whole truck shakes.
Decided to get it towed to the dealership. Will see what they say tomorrow..Damn !!

If the bed has shifted, do you think I have frame damage ?

bet the frame is bent. Passenger side rail pushed back or slight buckle. Sorry to see! Basically the same way my 03 Tacoma got totaled.

Didn't appear to be too bad at first but then noticed the space gap difference between the bed and the cab and then the hood..I'm afraid that indeed, there is damage to the frame..

Yes, there is frame damage, the cab and bed are not mounted together so if they are almost touching then it's damn near guaranteed

My frame was really twisted when my old 2000 got wrecked, it spent 40 hours alone on the frame machine and no they obviously did not total it. Good luck with your truck, hope everything works out ok.

Damaged frame likely. Extent of frame damage will determine if totaled as a frame can be pulled for repair. If kinked, then you're looking at frame replacement and likely a total. The shop will tear it down to determine extent of hidden damage and see what kind of buckles you have in the frame crush zones.

I don't know what body shop only quoted that as 12g's! That's easily $30g's in Canada with labor!

I haven't been very active on this forum before until today...Funny when you read previous posts of accidents, always felt bad for them and always thought it only happened to others and then "boom", it can happen to you too in a split second. I feel sick to my stomach tonight to see the truck I took so much care of and see it in that shape.
