How much lift was the spacer rated to give? I'm guessing closer to the 2" lift range? A .85 5100 lift and a .85 spacer lift is going to align exactly the same just as a 1.5" 5100 lift and a 1.5" spacer lift is going to align exactly the same.

Alignment techs vary and sometimes seem to get confused with anything that's out of the norm so anything is possible.

Yeah, at that range you're likely going to get a bit of positive camber along with lower than desired caster. At .85" you'll be golden though.

Cool. Should be able to run 265/75's with no probs? I would assume the ride quality would be nicer than the 2.5" spacer we ran on her other truck?
This almost too good to be true, I feel like I'm getting off easy! lol

    Too few to list.
I've drove and rode in trucks with .85, 1.75, and 2.5" setting. The first two setting is tolerable but the 2.5" setting is stiff. If you have the extra $160, get coils to lift. Much better ride than pre-load.

It will fit but some tires that has wider sidewalls may rub.

Not my truck but he is running 265 70 17 duratrack. I have to much tire to use before I start modding.

    Many & varied
Haven't read entire thread but I did OME 885s on 5100s front & back. Set fronts at .85 against Marie at Headstrong's suggestion. Gave me full 3" up front. AAL in back evened me out for a 3"/2" lift & level. I'd hoped for a little rake. My alignment went out fast. After geting a good alignment it rides pretty well but tends to wander at highway speed. It's a little flighty at high speed too. Since I'm hauling kids I'm debating whether to bring the fronts down to .0 or add LR UCA's (which I should've done in the first place for a 2"+ lift). I'm leaning UCAs for my next mod.

Oh, and I have the driveshaft warp thing at times. It knocks when accelerating between 25-45 mph.

Is he running 5100's at 1.75 in the front? Any lift in the rear?

Running 5100's at 1.75 or .85? I can't tell from the pic. Any issues with the taco lean? I've heard people setting the drivers side higher.

The UCA bolts are a bitch to get out. Ask me how I know. :D

So what I've gathered so far is 5100s should be set at .85 if running the stock coils. Go ahead and spring for a 1/4" spacer. Any issues fitting a 275/70r17 KO2s without removing the front mud flaps? Or is the mud flap thing only applicable when you get up to 3"? If I run this set up and decide to add a shell, do I have to worry about the "bro lean"?

I had a frame replaced 2 weeks ago on my '06 SR5 and had 5100s installed all around with front set at .85 on stock coils. They also replaced my 2+1 rear leafs with 3+1 rear leafs. Looks level, haven't measured though. Ride is much better, with a new steering rack it's nice & tight, handles like the '16 Taco SR they loaned me. Regardless, being on a budget I'm happy with the results.

Running the 5100s @ .85 setting w/ 265-75-16s. No 1/4 spacer, didn't even think about it or I probably would've put it in. Don't notice it at all though. My tires rubbed the front flaps BAD.

Think moving it up to the 1.75 notch would eliminate the rubbing?
