death trap I see.... even the shaft is red. . too lazy to take picture but installed xrc 9.5 and a cheapo cover for the winch. waiting on TJM synthetic winch rope so that I can install my aluminum hawse fairlead. took out pos hid reinstall osram h1 just to find out one is dead . ordered osram h1 nightbreaker. oh and also order these Factor 55 Winch Lock Security Bolt

I'm genuinely curious how he got the IFS to go that stretched, I barely squeezed my lift in. Wonder how it rides?

It took some pretty hefty leverage to get my OME coils in.


I'm sure his suspension rides about as soft as a skateboard's.

What bumper are you running I dont know what I'm going to do with my solenoid in this relentless bumper!? What did you do with yours?

trail-gear rock assault low profile, I just mount the solenoid on top of the winch. wanted to relocate into the engine bay but my shit is filled with too much crap. that also threw my though of a 2nd battery set-up down the drain.

 

Don't I have to extend all the wires that connect from the solenoid to the winch? And what advise can you give me on prestretching this synthetic line?

 

Dual battery tray?...maybe lol! I was thinking of making a dual battery tray type of piece but instead of mounting another battery I will mount my compressor because my cruise-control and abs bullshit take up he whole passenger side of the engine bay!

 

if you relocate it else where like say engine bay then yes, but your solenoid wires should allow some location adjustments. my though on pre-stretching, affix line onto drum, pull in about 4-6 line, then put about 500lbs on other end and winch in.

 

forget the other end no space for battery.

 

That's what i was thinking. My brother in law has a ranger I could hook onto it should be around 350 rolling resistance.

 

I put mine in the passenger side wing in the bumper. Next to the winch.

 

once my lines come in im gonna go do this at the lake but using the trees there with a slight incline. work the same.

I moved the plug into the cab.

 

Keep plug in engine bay, wire switches in cab. Super clean.
