So selling out a building in a government town, where people actually have to pay money for the seats instead of corporate sponsors buying them up, is an accomplishment when the team hasn't done shit with multiple number one picks over the last half decade? I mean in Toronto people have walked from the team when times are tough but with most large businesses in Canada having large offices there they will always sell those seats. It's just sad though that in a government town like Edmonton, now that Oil has crashed out, people are actually wasting their hard earned money, roughly a quarter of an average Canadian salary, to watch that garbage shit show. Sad.

That's what's shitty about TO though. All those seats are owned by corporate shills and regular joes can't go to a game. I know more guys around that area that head to Buffalo and Detroit to watch games then go to TO just because they can actually get a decent priced ticket.

Oh and guys in Edmonton that pay quarterly average salaries for personal tickets are few and far between. Those are reserved for big swinging dick corporate asshats
