I leave Feb 5th for Ft Bliss, Texas, but I'm pretty much locked down and doing things starting the 29th of January. I'll be in Texas for some pre-deployment for a week then overseas I go. So pretty much a week. I think I'm gonna take my dad out fishing at Los Vaqueros sometime next week. I'll let you know if I'm in town.

There is some of that on expo. Most of the time, at least on the Pop-up camper & Custom Camper threads, there's just a bunch of creative guys building cool shit to make exploring more fun for them. So many variations of what makes it enjoyable.
For me, it's sleeping comfortably, in a different place each night, with a quick takedown and setup. For others, it's LT on 35's with gobs of travel. Whatever makes you excited to be out there is the right setup.

 

What in the world is that? Is that a manufactured product or did someone macgyver it?

 

that's pretty nifty. Although short bed doesn't offer a whole lotta room. Maybe on a LB it'd be better. Plus when I go camping my bed is always chock full of my camping gear. No room for peoples in there!

 

id need an XXXL Bed for my giraffe ass to sleep in. I cant even sleep in the back of my 4runner with the seats down.
