I tried to hook them up the the bed light but that was too hard. So I ran them to to direct fuse that is always on. I added a commonly closed switch, so when I close the tailgate the light turns off. I also added another toggle switch so I can turn it off at all times if I want to. The lights I bought them at Walmart for $20.

Thanks man!! Ill for sure have one of them hitch covers once i get a hitch!!

Having a difficult time with the hitch though. Called etrailer who told me the dual plug receiver only works on Tunda years 2015 and older and wont work on a 16 tacoma, or any tacoma.... So i can get the receiver but dont want to have the wires hanging or ziptied somewhere below... I really want the factory stock look for the hitch setup. Which is being more difficult than it should be. The toyota dealership where i bought my truck said they couldnt even add it if i wanted to pay... WTF ?

Has anyone actually added a hitch to a 16 tacoma that did not come with one? Where is the connection for your trailer located at if so?

Funny thing is... I dont really have anything i "NEED" to pull at the moment. I just think all trucks should have a hitch, just in case.

I know this has nothing to do with this thread, but this thread receives the quickest reviews/response.

I did ad OEM mud flaps yesterday and very happy with them.

I down size from a 2nd gen Tundra to the 3rd Tacoma, I’ve noticed in the last two weeks when I am driving to work on the freeway that my truck seems to wiggle, not really but it moves around a little like the wheels are catching every little crack in the road. I was thinking this was due to me being used to the Tundra’s wheel spacing and now I have less in the Tacoma. Am I just being sensitive or do I need to tighten something up and look future into this?

You never had that issue with the Tundra ? I'm assuming the tires on the Tundra were wider. If not, I'd say what you're feeling is the tires riding in the ruts left by the tractor trailers in the interstate highways. I've had that issue with other cars I've owned that had wide tires on them. Not sure why they can't make asphalt harder or restrict the weight carried by the trucks.

How much did those puppies set you back? And do you know if they have them for the long bed too?

No issues at all with the Tundra, wider for sure. Cool, just wanted to see if I was being a little girl about things. I'm eventually going to put coil overs and non stock tires on, but not for at least a year or until I have some extra cash. Probably coil overs then tires.

If it wasn't a problem before you install the OEM flaps. Then take them off and see if you notice any difference. BTW, I'm in northern Cali and would gladly take them off your hand. JK I have a set waiting to be installed this weekend.

From day one I thought the truck was a "wanderer", yep it still is, I think it has over sensitive steering.

No it was part of my deal due to some issues... They were on back order, as others have said, but just came in when I was getting some additional items, it was the first ones that they had seen with this new design.
