Try loosening the other two bolts and wiggle the mount to align the hole better if you haven't tried that. That's what I did but it was still a pain to get that last bolt in. Which is the same hole you're having trouble with. I drilled out the holes on the mount a step bigger just to make then evenly round and have a bit more space to work with.

Yeahh I did that nothing was working though.

Ended up using a file an making a bigger hole. :D

Kinda disappointing that I had to file out half an inch of metal but all in all got it in.

Now I wait for my rigids to get here :pout:

I absolutely love my cbi brackets. The install wasn't bad at all. I have massive hands which made its pain for part of it but not bad.

That's what I though especially with how easy the passenger side went in. It literally took 30 seconds
Driver took better of 45 min to an hour.

Anyone looking for a set of these? I bought them not reading the instructions, come to find out you have to cut the crowling which I'm not willing to do. So brand new never been mounted set up for sale, thought I'd mention it in here before making a forsale thread. $35 plus shipping

Ok so I finally ordered some. They came in a few days ago and I installed them the same day because I was excited. I decided to make some kind of video (Not really an instructional but more for those wanting to purchase). I apologize in advance for seeming monotone, I was tired. Also, sorry for the video being vertical phone format but for those looking at the thread debating whether or not to buy, it is a good video to watch. Take a look. https://youtu.be/cveYKXrbKyg

Dont worry. It's not too bad. It's worth the work. If you have any questions or need help, ask and I'll do my best to help. By the way a Dremel is highly recommended for the cowling

For the cowling I used tin snips. Or some heavy duty scissors work fine also. Just incase you don't have a dremel. I think an agle grinder with a cut off wheel could work great also.

It's the hood interference/misalignment that bothers me.

I was ready to buy this setup till I watched @KnightVandal video which was imo a great video which covers good points. I think I will have to pass now because at the very least the hardware and mount holes should marry well. Think I will look for other options. :-(

These would be great if they compensated for the issues in the video. I hope they address this and send out replacement brackets because it's raining here in socal and I don't want water in my engine bay because of the gap the brackets are causing. CBI, I had posted a video a few up in the thread, please watch it and drop us a response.
