Anyone else having issues with the messaging specifically? After the first time I receive a text, it disconnects. I have an iPhone 5S.

After I have the truck read my text if I click on the app it goes back to saying would you like to set up messaging? But it never reconnects.

Correct so being that there is already a thread, well multiple threads started about this should there be yet another one with still no answer, or perhaps one could just post in the previous threads wear multiple people are congregating over no answers and they might just find the answer a little faster? Just a thought. Use the search function.

I have no issues on the iPhone 6 reading texts. If you are looking to reply though that isn't happening since Apple locks that feature out. As far as the disconnects go, if I could replicate that issue I could probably figure out what bluetooth is kicking back with my wireless/bluetooth scanner, assuming it isn't encrypted.

I reply all the time with my iPhone 6. Just hold down the phone button on the steering wheel to activate mobile assistant, and say "reply to _______, or reply to text, blah blah blah.". It will then read your message back to you and ask whether to send it.

It's been great for me. I leave my phone on the qi charger and listen to and reply to numerous texts on my commute home.

I was referring to the reply button on the entune system immediately after receiving a text message. I haven't tried initiating the system from the mobile voice assistant.

I have an iPhone 6 Plus and had the same issue. First text would let me read it and second the Read button was greyed out. Solution on another thread was to make sure you don't have any quick contacts and also make sure quick contacts is not one of the options on the home screen. Obviously a bug but once I fixed that I never have a problem anymore with it reading text messages.

my message read outs started working all of a sudden (after 2 months of not working). I can only play the text messages, which has the stereo read the message to me. I think what fixed my issue was letting someone else pair to my bluetooth for a few hours, then I deleted their phone and my phone from the stereos pairing memory. I went to bluetooth and "forget this device" and then I repaired to the stereo as if it were the first time. And then I immediately went to bluetooth>clicked on the "i" button on the right side>show notifications. Hope this helps. message read out has been working consistently for 3 weeks now. **I have an iPhone 6 with AT&T
