I agree, but I don't think any of my passengers have pushed them around getting in/out

What kind of all weathers do you have? I have Huskys and they seem to stick pretty well

It's important to note the all weathers from Toyota are working fine... its the other variable in that equation causing the problem ; )

It could be payback. I say I love my truck more than I say I love my wife. At least that's what she tells our friends.

The premium carpet mats seem to hold very well on the passenger side. They adhere to the floor in a velcro kind of way.

We took it on a 4,000 mile trip and I lost count in how many times we needed to adjust it. The trip involved some snow, so that made the situation even worse. The passenger side was worthless.

I certainly wouldn't say, that it's the passengers fault for not knowing how to enter and exit the vehicle. It's just poor design in the Toyota original all weather mats. Would be nice it they were longer and also contained wetness. Our 2013 Avalon doesn't have clips and it's never been a problem. We have the carpet and all weather ones for it.

We ordered the truck with the mats because nothing else was available back then. If you're getting your truck now, search out better options.

I didn't realize they were a pain until taking a 27 hour trip X 2. Guess sitting there and getting in and out a bunch of times, brought the situation to light. They just ride up and leave the carpet exposed.

I feel your pain OP, I've got the same issue. It's my only complaint about the truck though, so I guess I'm doing OK. I haven't found a solution that has worked yet, but haven't messed with it in a while or given much effort. Trying to avoid spending $$$ on aftermarket mats, and hoping to see someone come up with a cheap solution that works for more than a day.

Some Liquid Nails would hold the floor mat in place.

im having same issue with OEM all weathers. it helped when i bent the floor mat a little to shape it to the floor and tried to seat it into the carpet by pushing down and wiggling. liquid nails would work but wouldnt it be a pain when removing to vacuum or clean the carpets?

It is really not carpet. Feels to me like fuzzy covered cardboard.

I was kidding about the liquid nails. It is good stuff though. I stuck 2 solid concrete blocks together with it. Still holding tight after 16 years.

I glued some velcro on my OEM AW mats, and it held until my 300lb friend got in, pushed the mat and velcro right apart.

The new style mats aren't bad except for the passenger side being useless whenever someone jumps in.
