    Now that you're properly taken away from anything important due to this blatant lie, I'm looking for a fun 1/2 to full day-trip kind of place to go that has some quiet, peaceful, secluded beauty not too far from Phoenix which won't tear up my paint. Picking up my new yet stock TRD OR DCLB next month and heading your way in mid March. I'm an accomplished driver on road and have some experience off road but I don't know squat about 4WD so please don't get me in over my head.

    Point me in the right direction and I'll buy you some Kiltlifter. Thanx folks!

    let me clarify. I'm looking for something that won't take all day to get to. Say something between White Tanks and Globe, Sedona and Tucson. Something that won't ruin the rockers or take out a fender. What ya got for me now Josh?

    It is a very worthwhile starter kit for AZ Trails. Broken into regions (Northern AZ, North Central AZ, North Phoenix, East Phoenix, West Phoenix, Tucson/S AZ, etc)

    I've done listed "trails" in anything from my prior Jetta:eek: to my Buggy:burnrubber: and quite a few in my prior lifted 1st gen. #GoodDriverMod plays a factor with the car, but there is plenty to explore with a stock truck.

    It is a little Jeep/SxS leaning in the descriptions, but ratings/descriptions should be pretty close given stock Taco and new to offroad driving. And as been alluded to in a few posts, the heavy Monsoon Season rains every year do have an affect on trails. So search for more updated intel, post up dates looking for other rigs, and stay within your comfort zone.

    ill buy the book and follow it to the letter. ive been out a few times and seemed to do ok. far better than this guy we had to pull out. its all about making good decisions, chassis dynamics and tire capabilities be it dirt or pavement.
