I'll jump on here in the morning to see what's going on, but with 30+ inches on the horizon and family members already worried sick, I may be staying local.

Very true... the only traction I had on my Honda civic tires were the tread warning indicators. Put new Toyo's on it yesterday which made it feel like a brand new car, but would hate to think I had to rely on it to get around in a mess like this. With the taco sitting in the driveway, threat of snow doesn't bother me a bit. 40-50mph winds though, that's another story.

Is it good to put some weight in the bed for traction purposes? Will it affect the 4x4?

Loaded up the propane heaters, and 5000 watt inverter, in case of power loss.

Honestly I've never had to in mine and I drove in 2wd the majority of the snow storms since 2012.... Even tested it out on a steep gravel hill in the snow. Was able to start crawling without any slipping. These trucks are amazing. @ST3VE has a video of me driving a long snow banks at one of our Arundel Mills meets lol
