With the custom mods they did for me it was about $8500. They have many options and I just picked what I needed and they did a few mods that wasn't on
the option sheet. I will have had it a year in March and have really enjoyed it. More mods coming soon to make even more enjoyable. The flares are Xenon flares. Xenon says they only fit to 97 but mine is a '98 and they fit fine. Back in the day I called they to say their fitment guide is wrong, spoke to the president of the company and ended up in an argument with him regarding fitment, he said I was completely wrong and that he personally went to a dealership and confirmed with measurements that they WON'T fit. BS. I naturally countered with 'they are on my truck and fit just fine and if Toyota changed the fender from 97 to 98, how come the fender is the same part #?' Total jerk and I haven't pushed the company because of that but I love the flares.

 

Thanks bud but are you referring to the flares on your truck or @capturecolorado? I was wondering about the ones he has on his rear. Sorry thought I just quoted his post.

Amped to finally post mine up just got the wheels and tires on last week.

 

Truck looks good. What size wheel/tire combo you running?

 

The fronts are the stock flares from whatever off-road or SR5 package they were included with, the rears are the smaller OE option. I'm undecided on which I want to stick to, I have more rubbing on the front after I put the new wheels on, so I have to do more cutting... might just go flareless and make clearance for the tires to clear. I'd like to find a set of matching rear flares to the front...

Or glass on front.

 

What's the "oe option"? ...OEM? Can these be purchased some where you know of? Thanks for the info

 

yeah, OEM. I think these are smaller profile than the Bushwacker OE-style flares, but those are pretty close. The ones on the bed are pretty much trim pieces, you might be able to find some at a junk yard, it seems like these were really common till 98/9 http://www.bushwacker.com/fender-fl...fender-flare-set-of-4-oe-matte-black-31914-02

33x10.5 BFG at ko2's on pro comp 52's with no lift. I Ditched the 52's for some aluminum pro comp wheels after a week because I couldn't get them to balance out right.

 

I was curious if you were able to run those pro comp wheels without a wheel spacer. Do they clear your brake calipers without a spacer?

Did not clear I used a .25 inch spacer with some arp extended studs.

 

Ok, thanks. I kinda expected this. Itseems to be a common theme for the "D" windowed steel wheels, regardless of brand. I've been trying to find another set but I am unwilling to run one of those wheel spacers.

 

I would be more worried about getting a vibration from the wheels not balancing out correctly than from the spacers. If you're really worried about it Motorsport tech can build custom spacers that match both the hub centerbore and the wheel centerbore, which should eliminate any vibration caused by a spacer.

 

No thanks, no spacers for me. Especially those 1/4" type. Not going to make that compromise when I don't have to.
