I'll keep an eye out for your truck. My neighbor hooked me up with bidders passes again.. I presume you'll be parking down on the polo fields since you've got bidders passes?

I had 2 skybox passes with food and alcohol included but I gave them to my dad because I will be working

Went into Phoenix to pick up a wheelchair yesterday.... saw a couple haulers pulling Old Camaros and other muscle cars. I figured it must be going on soon! they all had Barrett's cardboard license plates on them.

Gonna have to look up where, when, and how much. Never been to one of these things! Sounds sweet, and I did like what I saw!

 

It's a good time! Basically a giant toy store. It's at Westworld at the 101 and Frank Lloyd Wright in Scottsdale. It'll be going on all next week. Prices are cheaper during the day, and it gets more expensive as it gets closer to the weekend since thats when all the big cars go across the block

 

AHHHHHHH!!!! I saw all the tents!

 

That would be awesome. Then I would just need to buy a kids pass.

yep, that'd be it.. And a little further up the 101, closer to Hayden is the Russo and Steele Auction.. There are a few more closer to old town Scottsdale and one at the Biltmore as well

 

more or less. long story short, it started pretty normal with me trying to tell a guy with a stock truck that he doesnt need beadlocks. Then turned into some shit show about how BJ Baldwin told him he was the best off road driver ever and he drives 90-100 mph in the dirt all the time which is why he needs beadlocks and how he would beat anyone in anything on any dirt road a trophy truck could drive on. "nut up or shut up" was i believe what he told jake and I. So i took him up on his offer....and he made excuses . I have screen shots, it was mildly entertaining for a Thursday night.

 

With a name like Rosco I wonder if his truck is orange with a Confederate flag on the roof.

 

Just drive North on the 101 until you see the signs that say "BJs Next Exit". At least ADOT has a better sense of humor than the MVD.

 

Oh... I'm going to find that exit regardless!!!!!!

Its Frank Lloyd Wright and the 101 for the exit sometimes rain tree for certain overflow parking paths and such.

 

I'll be there Sunday morning if anyone wants to meet up. Looks like tickets are $15 at the gate and $11 online.

 

Which Sunday? It starts tomorrow but the "big" days are next fri-sun

When I worked in escrow I drove from Prescott Valley to north Scottsdale every day. The money was good enough that I made the commute for a year and a half.

 

I was going to work on the truck... but I could get distracted and go for a ride. I have a book with day trails listed....
