    Here is one...it is mostly a pro-OR thread but towards the end there are reasons listed for the Sport too. Most of these threads go that direction.

    I love my 2010sport because I do very little off roading just hunting and fishing no rear locker is not an issue because of light 4x4 need I have. I like the all black of the sport and the hood

    Sport has an 8.4 inch open diff, OR has 8 inch locking diff. Most other differences are cosmetic

    Much disappoint. Guess when I get around to getting another Tacoma I'll fall back on the 1st gen's. Few years out still but I figure a used one and the opportunity to rebuild it will be fun

    I never really understood Toyota's logic of offering different trim/packages in Canada vs the US.

    Like where the hell do they get their data that Canadians don't want a DCSB Offroad or that Americans don't want an AC Offroad with a manual transmission?

    I am happy though that when I bought my truck Toyota had the "Sport Premium" package in Canada which gave you leather and navigation without having to buy the Limited package. I don't think that was an option in the states.

    I can't bring myself to get into a 2016 Tacoma. It doesn't impress me at all. I'd prefer a 1st gen but would settle with a 2nd gen. Hearing about the hunting for gears kinda turns me off of it as well as the switched transfer case. I mean for gods sake the 4Runner has a manual transfer case on the trail and SR5, why can't the Tacoma?

    I was referring to the auto in that statement. I don't mind driving a manual and if I have to down shift then I have to downshift. Reading about the constant up a gear down a gear in the auto though...

    What was wrong with the thread on the same topic that you started 2 days ago? The sport has a stiffer suspension and bigger wheels with a fake hood scoop that can in some cases impair your view of things close to the front of the vehicle. The OR has crawl control, a locking rear diff, a softer suspension tuned for off-roading, and better brakes.
