How much of a hassle was it doing the power tail gate lock?

Thanks for the clarification. Just making sure if I was suppossed to get those instead of the old ones. Might pull the trigger for the weathertech liners. I have those on my Highlander and they still look good after six years!

I did my cmc yesterday. Not too difficult. Cut, chop, weld, paint, repeat. Alignments was done and caster was at 3 degrees but still had rubbing while 1/4 turn in reverse. Couldn't stand it. Everytime I backed out of the driveway it sounded like my truck was taking a dump on the sidewalk.

Tires are not even close now! Yeah boi!!!

Ok all I can find searching is the pop lock kit for the tailgate, didn't someone post the part numbers for a Toyota kit for the Tundra that would work?

We sould have a sticky section with part numbers for the mods such as LED's, HID, etc.

    Im curious as well.

I have looked at some, but my real question would be how much the install cost. I remember about 10 years ago when i was stationed in texas i got remote start and an alarm installed on a car at a car audio shop and the install was quite a bit more than what the alarm cost itself.

Probably going to look into an audio shop for wiring up my light bar and red LEDs when i get them in... I dont know how to wire any of this shit. And dont want it to look like crap... But man those places overcharge like crazy.

I just had mine installed they used the COMPUSTAR START IT 7S FT-7200S and the Dronemobile DR-3100 so I can use my phone to start. When Im at work the car is about 1/4 mile away, but the range is almost unlimited as long as there is cell service. I have the smart key and I press the lock 3 times to start it. It works just like the factory they charged me about 275 in labor.

My installer is telling me he's not sure if my doors will lock and unlock with my factory remote when the car is running. I may have to use the Fob that comes with the system. He's trying to sell me a crime stopper.

Sounds good. I appreciate the tip and heads up. I've never used it before so it'll be new to me.

AutoAnything, the Extang Max Seal. It came recommended from @mplogan, who has the same cover (Extang SolidFold 2.0) on his truck. The cover keeps the water out from above but not the areas it doesn't touch, like where the tailgate meets the bed sides (go figure). He also let me know that I was missing the head rail plugs, and because of him Extang is sending me a set. Thanks again for that, BTW.

I think they were around $700.00 after shipping. I wish I'd never sold my bender but they are a bitch to make unless your setup for production.. Send them an email on the long bed.. I had been hearing 3-4 month wait from alot of the fab guys on here but RCI was great, I said I needed them asap. They had them to me in a week.. Bam!!!!
