It is an ARE V series shell
EZ lift system and EZ lift tent, it can all be purchased, I sent out a request for a quote for shits n gigs.
I think i would be alright with my long bed, if I were to go that route I think I would build a platform to sleep on that would store all my gear underneath. I'm just trying to think of the best way to have everything I want with a lower center of gravity when wheeling... Without dropping the money on a trailer.

That's a nice setup. It would work well if the sleeping platform was padded instead of using an inflatable mattress. That way you could have a padded removable center panel, to create a footwell, so you can sit up comfortably. You could even crouch so you can change clothes standing up. Keep removable bins in the area that can be quickly unloaded.
One issue, that came up on expo, is that the tent doesn't have flaps that go over the edges of the bed. Water can pool in that area if you're camper in the rain, and obviously leak into the bed. Parking with the back slightly downhill would help. Or sewing a "skirt", with integrated magnets, that would overlap the sides of the bed.
For the price though, the DCSB guys can just buy a used Flippac...

Haven't heard wheel dude mentioned in years (when I was still active on the i-club forums). +1 for Wheel dude (never bought tires from them but bought wheels and they were awesome to work with).

I'm thinking march or April I will be doing the install.. If it doesn't have the bushing its just another $100 but I just did mine 1oooo miles ago. Its easy to do but I sent the tool out to next guy that needed it so tracking another one down can be a bitch. Or if I have them put it in when I regear its another cost I just hate to pay for.

Nice. I had an 09 wrb wrx hatch that I traded in for the taco. I think when I bought the wheels (rota g-force) they were already at the speed element shop (Then again, maybe not, it's been a while but I remember going to that location in Fremont before).

I only met a few guys from iClub. I went to a couple of meets at cafe zen back in the day.

I'll have to check them out again. I need a spare Toyo at2.

The delay in schedule is probably due to production demands on the airbag. They only get soo many replacements into the parts department per day and then they have a waiting list of customers whom are needing the replacement. Good Luck sir!

They didn't even ask what it was for, just told me it's a month wait for any recall. Seemed a bit excessive but I'm not in a giant rush.
