How do those stock tires do in snow? I think that's what I got on the loaner right now.

my local check only took half of a day and then I was in an out of the courthouse in about 30 minutes.....they do a quick background check, take your picture then laminate your card right there, all good for 5 years

 

It's the same state wide. Just some are quicker than others...some sheriff depts do it on the spot while others you have to mail it in, then get a card saying come get your picture taken.

 

Never really had to drive in deep snow with the stock tires, so i don't know. But I know the Tank treads I got now are gonna be a lot of fun.

 

Ok tonight was the first time I got to play in the snow with the taco. I'm getting a loud clicking noise when I fishtail or do donuts. It sounds like it's in the front and rear. I've tried it in 4x4,2x4 ,trac lock out and every combo of buttons I could think of. Every other truck I've had never sounded like this. So am I missing something or is that normal operation.

 

Still could be traction control kicking in. No matter what you push to turn it off, it's always lurking. Like an obsessed ex girlfriend.

Hard to say without hearing it.

Last snow storm my wife wanted understand how to drift, so worked up my best Ken Block impersonation in her Soobi,..
With the TC on it's amazing how much that vehicle will resist such foolishness. Once I convinced the car "it's ok I got this" then the fun began, my wife even got make her first donuts in a big ol parking lot.
