I would just hate to be the guy 5 months out of warranty to need a rear seal or something stupid... Especially on a new model year.

Thats exactly why i got the platinum. New model. Almost everything is computerized in the 3rd gen.
    Gold package is $1049
    Platinum is 2049
i got the platinum for the price of gold for 1049. I went for it cause new model. And comes with 8 oil changes. Just 8 oil changes is about $700 bux

I love how dealers upsell those oil changes. Done on your driveway that's about $150 of oil and filters. I'm not saying everyone should change their own oil but, damn, that's a lot of money they inflate into that price.

I went for the Platinum on my 2013 truck and after my mods I doubt I would get a lot back. Oh well. Next time I'll keep my 1K.

Other question i have is since my 2014 taco has extended warranty which has not started can i transfer it or get some money back? I talked to one dealership and they said no. But another told me it can be prorated... Plus i would like to know if in canada we can get the extended warranty up until the end of the factory warranty,?

The dealer can choose to give you money or not for the warranty as an added value option when they buy the truck. The warranty does transfer with the vehicle and it may be attractive to the next buyer. It won't do anything for discounting your next warranty as far as I know.

I have no idea about the second part of your question. I know Ford Canada allows for that.

42.5$ All-in on an inferno + upgrade sounds pretty good!

I'm hoping to get a plain TRD DCLB Sport for $40 or a little less out the door. This makes me optimistic lol.

    What dealer did you use?

I made the rounds to most of the dealerships in town. I ended up going with Stampede because I liked my salesman the most there, but Henninger and Canyon Creek were ready to match that price. I believe that $42.5 ended up being like $600ish over invoice price.

Hello all, been lurking for a couple months but finally put some money down on a 2016 Inferno TRD Offroad! I was kinda spurred into this by my current DD, a Scion FR-S deciding to go into limp mode. the engine sounds like a bag of rocks. The waiting game begins for me as my dealership has to find me one first lol. Does anyone know of any of the inferno TRD offroads in alberta?

I think I'm gonna holler at Mr Linterman. I was talking to Gateway and just not getting through to them. Yea I said I was 'kicking tires' in the beginning but they weren't near the mark.

Bought from them before so I felt like I had some kind of loyalty. (Stupid me)

Acting like a Tacoma will always fetch MSRP like its a Shelby or something

Tell mike you were talking to jason McVicar and want his discount!

With the job losses in the oil patch you would think they would be hungry to make a deal!
