Any EDC Gear people out there?

I have a thing for random cool, useful EDC pocket gear. Anyone else on here?

I also carry backpack with me in the truck or if I'm out walking somewhere that has AR500 Backpack soft armor in it, and other random stuff. Cell phone battery pack charger, fixed blade knife, paracord, writing utensils, notepad, and sometimes my laptop. Just random crap in it.

They're fucking huge and heavy and bulky, and expensive.

My dad bought one. Now that I've seen it, wouldn't buy one for me. They're huge.

I don't have that many keys maybe 8 including cuff key and gun lock keys it's only an inch wide and it helps with my single stack mag so I can reload easier.

 

I only carry about 5 keys. Looks like smallest is half an inch. My knife is larger. Price is only thing that keeps me from buying now.

Where are buying the key bars, do any sure have them to look at it online only?

Wouldnt really call it huge. But, that's just my opinion.

 

All relative of course. It's a bulletproof product and I have no question they're meant to last a lifetime.

They're just massive chunks of metal, I'd have one if they were half as thick. Occupies too much space and adds too much weight for me!

 

FWIW They do have a carbon fiber one. But I do see where you're coming from. It could be classified as bulky, but after a while Ive just gotten used to it. I either keep my key bar and olight on my belt, or the small pocket in jeans.

 

IMO, of course.

I had a significantly smaller and more minimalist key organizer for 6 months and then stopped using it because it wasn't so convenient in actual use as it was in theory, so I'm not generally a fan of them.

That said, these are my own observations. The version my dad carries isn't my cup of tea - didn't intend to come off like I was shitting on KeyBar. Like I said, excellent product that you can pass down to at least 3 generations - just too big and heavy for my tastes.

 

Makes sense, different strokes for different folks.
