sorry is this is the wrong thread, but what do you guys do with the rubber cup holder? I'm sure most of the trucks are similar to mine in that there is a removable cup holder to allow use of a Nalgene style bottle, but what do you do with that part when you remove it. I'll have my coffee in the morning and need it, then switch to my Nalgene for water the rest of the day, so I just toss it in the backseat...any other better ideas?

The glove box or console...? You could just remove 1 of them and use for your nalgene bottle while the other rubber holder is for your coffee :hattip:

I do about the same thing you describe. Usually just have one couple holder in and the other either sitting in the rear floor board or passenger front floor board. Used to stick it in the cubby in front of the cup holder spot but now that area is occupied by a switch panel in my truck.

That's what I end up doing, but often times when I'm taking someone with me in the morning we use both for coffee, so I like to have the extra one handy. Just wondering if there was a place it fits snug when not in use.

I actually always have my rear seats folded down. So, i set the rubber thing on the two cup holders that sit up behind the center console when I don't want them in front of the shifter.

You could get rid of the rubber ones and instead get the insert that came with the '05 - '10 Tacomas (not my auction):

They pop up for sale around the saloon (2nd gen marketplace) occasionally. They are offered on Amazon, as well. Cheers.
