The Waiting Game...Who's playing?

I ordered mine on Dec. 16 and I still don't have any information at all. Inferno DCLB TRD OR 4x4 for reference. The crap part is my current truck is limping along until my new truck gets here.

 

I second this. When the I told the dealer what I want, he came back with a sheet of paper - kind of like a multi-page window sticker - with what was essentially a preconfigured truck. He had gotten some things wrong and he came back with another sheet that was pretty much what I wanted. I wasn't planning to buy the all weather floor mats and mud flaps from the dealer, but he told me that taking those two things out could delay the truck by a month or more. It was like he had a list of trucks he was expecting at various intervals for the next few months and I could pick one that wasn't spoken for already. Anything that wasn't already on his list would be a significant delay.

 

almost 2 months later... The time has come!!! Just got 'er this evening. Drove it 70 miles home. Worth the wait!! Such bad ass trucks!!! Good luck all! Take no crap from squirrel dealers!!!

 

Good luck to you. I was working with Alex Rangel, nice guy but we couldn't secure a vehicle. Just picked up my truck this evening from Mossy. They had 8 trucks come in today.

 

Nice! Keep updating this thread when you get more info and I will do the same. Hope we get our trucks around the same time.

I wasn't in a hurry since we have other vehicles but now that we made the decision and ordered it, I'm excited to get it. She told she would keep checking to see if something comes in sooner. She found a couple similar but most had tonneau cover which I have no interest in.

 

How long does it take a truck to be built? Talking about production line time from first bolt to rolling off?

So after 13 long weeks ,she has arrived. I think I made out pretty good, the wrong truck arrived , it had an upgraded tech package and also a towing package, so I got it for $4000 under MSRP, also I cant see on the paperwork where they charged me for the added accessories, but I'm sure at some point i'll hear from the salesman on that stuff. So for you guys waiting , GOOD LUCK!!!! And I have to say it's so worth the wait...this truck is amazing....GOOD BYE waiting game thread!!!!!!!!!

 

My Sales Guy called me today. I'm in Pennsylvania also. Was also told my build date is Feb. 2nd. as well. 2016 TRD Sport Super White DCSB Auto with Tech and JBL. Good Luck with your new truck!

Didn't Receive an Allocation the first go around. And the waiting game continues.....

 

That's my build as well but I went with BBP and OR. Which dealership in PA?

I'm in the same boat with a Sport Long Bed. The folks just above you got Feb 2 as a build date and they both have Short Beds. I feel like we'll have to keep waiting....

 

Yeah, I already know I bit myself in the ass with the request of the OR LB, Tech & Premium Package w/ JBL Audio, and Interior Trim. Just that right there really limited my production chance/window to "whenever" they get around to it. Add my wants of the Roof Rack, Bed Mat, Tire Package, Black Oval Steps, ect ect, and you are right, the wait is on unfortunately.

so i got a build date of 2/8 and delivery date of 3/1. not holding my breath after reading threw this thread but i am excited. looks like it is being built in the US as well. my original pick was quicksand but after finding out how hard it was to find a manual i said i was open to any color. they ended up finding me a quicksand just as i was about to jump ship to another dealer that had a white one on order.

 

Just got an update from the dealer. I ordered on nov 11 Dclb or 4x4 quick sand. He said it finally showed up in the pipeline. Est vpc arr 2016 .04.09 what ever that means? Pretty pissed! 5 months is ridiculous! Not sure if that is the build date or delivery date? Almost ready to just go buy a damn jeep! Bad part is I turned down one another dealer ordered for me that I did not ask them to order . Looks like they just sold it. They got it down to $175 more than the deal I made on the one I ordered. I told them I would wait a couple more weeks for mine to honor the deal I made unless they could beat my price. I regret that now so pissed!

Got port date of 4/5/16 today estimated delivery date of 4/20/15...

 

I'm in Colorado. Thanks for the link, I hadn't seen that website. Here I've been manually looking at inventory everywhere. I'll keep checking around out here to see if there's a match!
