What uca/ spindle are you running ? Not recommended to do that off a stock, or even stock gusseted spindle.

I was going to panel around the motor from the frame up much like the rear of my truck and incorporate some venting into it

no, but I will likely bump off the upper when I do since my spindles can handle it

or just replace the factory bumps. it will come down to space

Hey guys I have a 97 with front and rear LT. Camburg and kings front, deaver f67 16" kings and fox bumps in rear. all built by myself.
    (now that i've introduced myself)
Just got a 01 double cab v6 to build... but I need help deciding what kind of rear suspension to put in. I LOVE the f67s in my 97 but i find they are getting sagged out fast. I carry a lot of weight all the time. RTT, Hi-lift, Extra fuel, Spare, Tools. You know for an expedition type truck.
And since I live up in the North... shits expensive and HARD to get!!!
So for my double cab i'm going to put the camburg 4wd LT in the front and I want a rear end that can carry my expo gear a little better.
    Deaver H70???
Allpro(engage) 50T, god knows where to get those.... if I even could.
I know I know GIANT 64" LINK KILLER but can it carry some weight for a couple years at least...? and big $$$ up here :(
another deaver option? not sure if they have much longevity to sagging as my first set of f67s have shown...
This might be a far cry... but shops stock Allpro EXPO SOA leaf packs which would be perfect if I was more a stock kind of guy. But I was thinking that the expo pack SOA with my 16" kings 1:1 ratio might be able to cycle some decent travel...
anyone with experience with any SOA or SUA springs that could be an option for an expedition style 01 LT 4wd double cab taco!
New deavers up here would be around 1500-1800$ with the dollar being so poor and shipping.

Deaver can make you h70/e30 springs no prob, just a custom order.... It's what I did, all pros are only going to cycle maybe 12 max

And how are they on your 2nd gen? stiffer? i still want to have a supple capable rear end when ready to go places. not to concerned about when unloaded doing errands...
Longevity? how long have you had them, have they sagged alot?

From what I hear they are pretty good, most people that like leaf springs like their springs.. Lots of people call them and tell them what they are going to do with their vehicle etc, like you listed above to get a spring better suited for them from the start vs off the shelf

Or if that makes you to uncomfortable, they have this slick other option that will produce the same result, email: sales@deaverspring.com

Did some more exploring around salton sea last weekend and found an abandoned navy base that we used to practice dropping a bombs in the 40s

There's tons of stuff like that scattered all over the Arizona desert too from pre World War training camps. Abandoned runways all over, if you ever fly over you can see them. Shaped like triangles.

    ALL OF THEM!...Then some more.

The rear on my truck isn't lt and it's still super fun. I'm in the same boat weight wise. It's not as nice as a lt rear end I'm sure but I know once I get some better shocks and tune them a bit with hydo bumps it'll still be pretty great.

Vertical travel is about the same as the front right now around 13-14". It'll flex on the rocks more then that though. I still have a blast. My leafs are alcans. SOA.
