It never "turns off" it's always on to an extent. Which is dumb, but I guess it's Toyota trying to protect the stupid.

 

No ones found a way to turn off the traction control?
For the record I normally drive like an old man and truck never gets over 2,000 rpms but every once and a while I'll play. ( In a safe location)

 

That's awesome. My wife would do no such thing. LOL. She yells at me when I do it. Specially with the kids in there. So when it's just me and the kids, we go do them without her. And laugh our asses off the whole time.

 

Yeah. I've done that. It just sucks it still lurks. It should shut off if you want without having to mod it.

 

I guess my old 07 without traction control is good for some fun in the snow! We'll see in the morning!

 

I was getting a bit silly with the loud pedal (well as loud as a 4l Taco will get) in a silt bed and sounded like I was hitting the rev limiter.

Big difference from the 5.7 Hemi,..

When the stripers start running north I'll supply the beer and bait on a surf fishing trip.

 

My wife thinks it's a blast when I use the circle intersections as a skid-pad,..
I have to stop when she's laughing so hard she can't breathe.

Who else is getting fun snow?! My prerunner with 300 lbs in the bed and snow tires was amazing in the snow (what little we had at 9pm) !

Everyone at work fucks with me for being the biggest guy and driving a mid size truck. They are all 5'2 and 175lbs with 2ton trucks
