Hey guys I have a 2012 Toyota Tacoma trd sport 4x4. I want to level my truck. Do I need anything else besides the bilstein 5100 shocks to level the front of the truck to match the back? What setting will level my truck. I have stock trd sport suspension right now on my 4x4 double cab. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also do I need ucas if I do this to level my truck?

I believe the 2012 sport already has the TSB rear. From what I've heard on here setting the 5100s at .85 will give you a slight rake, and setting them at 1.75 gets you pretty level (if you have the TSB). I'm not sure about the ucas, I imagine if you only go .85 you wouldn't need to mess with them.

Check the leaf pack in the back. If it is 3 + 1 overleaf then you need to do the 1.75 setting on the 5100's to keep it level. If it has the old 2 + 1 leaf pack then the .85 setting will level you out. No new UCA's needed but you will need to get it aligned after the lift is in. And good for you to do the 5100 route as your first lift, and not the Hockey Puck spacers a lot of newcomers to lifting do.

I just installed 5100's on my double cab with overload and also installed a 1.5" aal in the rear. front set to 1.75". before we installed the aal we put my truck down and there was a lot of rake. too much. yes it will settle a bit but in my opinion it was still too much. ive heard that at .85" they sit pretty level. So id say try that and if your not happy with it then go up from there.

He only wants to do a lift in the front not an AAL at all. I just did the 1.75 on mine with nothing in the back and it was perfectly level. I took mine all out and went the full 3 inches after that.

BEFORE I installed the AAL, I had it sit down with JUST the 1.75 lift on the front. And there was a lot of rake. Most likely going to be different with every truck

Rake generally means rear is higher than the front. If you're saying their was a 'lot of rake' BEFORE installing the AAL, it would be worse after the AAL.

1.75 on a 2012 will be perfectly level but will look "bro" leaned because of the hood scoop..... Because of this I went with .85.
