I know exactly what pieces you're talking about now. And damn it I think I may have thrown them away. I'll have to check again to see if still have them or not.

I guess if I don't have them all I would really need is to make some sort of spacer that goes from here to here (drew a little red arrow in the picture)

So that measurement is 1". The back is 1.75" if you want it. But it doesn't touch the skid. But the whole angled part is touching the skid. If it was me I would weld the bracket to the skid. So you don't have to deal with it all the time. Granted the brackets are bolted to the Fram already.

You rock Leo! Thanks. So you think I can get away with just having the 1 inch spacers over the front bolt holes?

Ya no problem. Ya you can get away with just that. But I would do some kind of reinforcement on the angled part now.

If you welded that bracket to the skid you would never be able to remove it. Unless you cut access holes to get to the bolts that hold that bracket.

Oh, and that's a huge sticker! You getting paid to advertise for him? :p

Ya I knew that. I figure he was smart enough to figure that out. But now that I think about it. You would have to cut new holes in the skid.

No I am not getting paid for it. He ask it I wanted it and I said yes. To be honest I wasn't really thinking a bout it when I put it on.
