Dayam...NJ the same..So what is it you get for that money We don't? That means one could have a paid off home and STILL be renting the land for almost a grand a month which can buy a pretty big home here. Charleston is more expensive though.

People think the south is poor and for the most part it is but poor here means owning land and a single wide. Not living in the inner city projects as there are few "inner cities" here.

I think for the ost part the payscales are much higher in the north so people apparently don't mind or are used to paying that much to the Gov to own a home. My brother pays $12K a year in NJ. Tract home on a postage stamp lot in Clifton.

I think going forward people will start getting discounts as supply out strips demand. Unless one is ordering. Dealers would rather sell trucks they are paying flooring on than a sale in two months.

I see it happening already. Dealers keep calling me. But a lot of it are games or you find a padded MSRP, TDA or other BS.

Keep an eye on all of the accessories they package in with it. They usually up-price those. I ordered one with NO accessories. They included the all weather mats and sills and i told the guy I wasn't paying for them. Either get them out of there, or give em to me for free. After market accessories are better anyhow.

If you're in Ohio, I'm trying to sell Tacomas at invoice until the end of the month. Keep in mind, a lot of the accessories these trucks have are put on at the factory and are on the Monroney label that the truck arrives on. I've noticed that if a truck arrives on an upper trim level with the tech package, it's way more likely to also come with things like a bed step or running boards or whatever. Things like all weather mats are easy to move off/on a truck, but the factory tonneau cover unlikely to be removed. If you are working with a dealership that pays on commission, they're going to be more resistant to keeping a truck un-accessorized since that's how they get their gross.

Honda is brutal at adding accesories as there are only three or four models within each segment. I always have to make them remove $200 moonroof deflectors, pinstriping, wheel locks and more......My Toyota dealer took all the charges off for dealer installed crap like Nitrogen, pinstriping,Tint,One year ding and key protection, a few oil changes,...$1295 worth of add ons many buyers will pay. They included the price of the addons in the MSRP on my buyers offer makes it look like I gor $3500 of MSRP ..... Thankfully they know me as a regualr customer and know I don;t pay MSRP and especially do not pay for dealer added accessories and services.

which rebate is this? The ones I see from Toyota are for College Grad or Military, and both require financing through Toyota.
