Helpful hint: remove snow from windshield and headlights next time.

Tennessee snow day. Ten inches and still coming down. I had planned NOT to get out in this. Went to rescue the missus from work. Had to remove six different vehicles from my path with chain and recovery strap to get to her. Then had to shovel snow piles out of my own driveway to get back in. Thank you Tacoma (and gear I carry) for a safe and successful trip.

Coffee and Netflix for the remainder of the evening.

Yesterday and today…had tires rotated; removed skid plates and painted over some rock scrapes; changed oil and filter; greased u-joints on front and rear drive shafts; cleaned PCV valve, throttle body, and MAF sensor; replaced engine and cabin air filters.

I still need to do a coolant flush and replace brake fluid, but that will be next months project.

I replaced my carpet with the OEM vinyl flooring a few months back. I'm sure these cutouts are for something with the floor mat retention system. Does anybody have pictures of what the parts look like? Part numbers? How they're attached etc. I stopped by the local dealership and none of the 2012+ tacomas had this cutout in their carpet.

After looking at some pics, looks like that's the spot where the floor mat anchors go...sorry I don't have a part number though.

Check out the pic on this page post #11

Finished the dome and map LED conversion,
    The dome/map tethered mod,
Footwell and under seat LED strips, put them on an illuminated rocker in a dash blank tied to the dash circuit dimmer, and tied them all in to the dome ground for a simultaneous fade out. Cheap materials but tons of labor!

It's been a couple years since I've seen this stuff. My truck needs a garage.

I though I was the only one with Amber Duallys there. I really like mine. They work great for heavy fog or white out conditions.

You too? My wife stopped one in her camry the week before Christmas. Kid had just turned 16, no license and his brother was in the car. Pretty sure his dad killed him.
