My SR5 4 cylinder, bought April 1 '9 [no fooling], I have always had to shut engine off to get into or out of 4WL. Yes I have tried all those things like rolling, neutral,... but I always have to shut off the engine and start up again, to get it into or out of low. 9,000 km now.
Hey would you guys quit using apostrophie for plurals,-confusing! That makes a thing possessive!
Yes I have done everything in the manual including holding down the clutch in neutral or otherwise. Nothing works!

I noticed you have to sitting still and you have to hold the clutch down. If the clutch is not depressed the 4lo will not activate even if your in neutral. just a thought.

X2- If you've trouble shot it to the extent it sounds like you have- Go talk to the dealer while you are still under warranty.

Yeah, the salesman said, a long time ago, that this is a strange thing and it shouldn't be like that.Guess that's what I should do, and let you guys know what the trouble was.Its a bit of a hassle since I live 45 miles from town. [4W low sticking]

Yeah....It's not pleasant but when you go and re-read the directions and try a few times it's worth it to get them to fix it...Specially under warranty....
