Installed OME 885s, 1/2 top plate spacers and a taco lean spacer, Bilstein 5100s all around, TC UCA's, Wheelers HD Progressive AAL without overload, SCS SR8 wheels with BFG KO2s 285/70/R17. No rubbing and alignment is in spec. Feeling sore from the install, but super satisfied with the results and ride. Just a tad bit stiffer than stock, which is 10x better IMO.20160119_165353.jpg

That looks bad ass. Mine should look similar.

What alignment specs did you use and any tips on rear prog adds leaf install?

I didn't even bother for the $10 dollars I cut the passenger side. Honestly I wish i just bought 2 bolts and cut both sides. Soooo much easier...

From what I hear passenger side is near impossible. I didnt try it, I just bought a replacement and cut the old one out.

I don't cut UCA bolts because I want to reinstall it from the top down, it takes one hell of a pry bar to bend the fender enough to get them out.

Ok, just got back from the dealer and had a discussion, bottom line, if the issue is replicated by service. They will replace the entire carriage assembly and follow tsb protocol at no cost to consumer, deciding which would be best. They are aware of the issue and a 16 4runner just had the same problem. Now if the tsb doesnt work, then I would recommend the bushing, toyota has a new tsb for this problem. My truck goes in thursday.
Dealers sell level kits on 16 tacomas on lots currently , so dealers should think about taking care of the problem. This is not a level or lift issue, its a bearing design problem, and glad my dealership is stepping up to the plate. There is a reason toyota has this tsb, because other trucks modified or not have had this issue.... even 16's. By flipping to 4wd the noise stops period..... so its a diff...and bearing issue.
thanks all who helped me out on this, used correctly this forum can be very beneficial to all tacoma owners, this is my 4th tacoma; ) been a lurker , now posting.
I will keep all informed as my truck progresses, fingers crossed.

UPDATE: The truck is getting a new front differential (carrier assembly) at no cost to me. Dealership is working to solve the problem and corresponding with corporate headquarters on this issue. They took pictures of the current assembly and sent to corporate. Corporate responded and now sending the assembly. The snow storm has things tied up a little in the east coast. So next wk, hopefully will have an update if the new assembly now will fix the issue...or still have to go the ecgs bushing route. Toyota obviously knows about this issue, I believe.
Btw ..my truck has less than a 1000 miles on it

I have a 2016 with 200 miles on it and it has the vibration between 15 and 25 mph completely stock. Took it to the dealer to have someone drive it to confirm this before the lift was installed. The service manager did not ride with me because he had already had several complaints on this issue and was aware.. This is not a lift kit problem.. This is a shitty design problem that needs to be addressed by Toyota. Now, with that being said nothing has been done yet.. I installed a 2 inch lift on mine yesterday and it turned up the problem by 200 %.. If you think this is a problem before the lift I would not recommend installing the lift until you have it fixed first!! Just my small input on what appears to be a large problem

Is this vibration everyone is talking about a constant one that happens when traveling between these speeds or just when you are slowing down and hit these speeds?

Mine was either going up or down through 15-25 mph... Putting the lift on has it from 15-55 now. growling, moaning, and raising hell.. Pop it in 4wd it immediately goes away. go to 2wd and it comes right back

Just wondering if anyone has put this leveling kit from lowrange off road on their tacoma yet? And if you have, do you have to take the shock assembly apart to put the longer studs in?
