    It may be bc my truck is N/A. They pointed to it may be OK with low power, but it seems high power it may blow? How expensive is the other one?

    Valve body upgrade is supposedly the fix according to them, they say the slipping from 4th to 5th is normal.

    @iniazy did this DIY with Level 10 components.

    The main point here, is that if you have an auto transmission, added weight, added power, or both, this upgrade will undeniably prolong and save your transmission. Whether IPT does it for you, or you do it yourself.

    The OEM shifting has smooth engagement with lots of slipping. Driving with the valve body upgrade is firmer. Not neck breaking, or intolerable. Unless you're a sissy. Protect the trans, or be a sissy....

    At 45k miles. The 4-5 thing is getting annoying. I only notice the hang there. On full mash, my 2-3 shift runs to the rev limiter before shifting. That's a new development.

    I have the whole tranny, valve body, and torque converter from Level 10 and have had ZERO issues. Granted there is only about 30,000 miles on them.
