Im in the process of doing it... Don't quote me but after some research I learned that if you have a double cab tacoma there are pre-drill holes already done for you. So there's no drilling through the top of the roof. I checked for the holes and felt them, there are underneath that black rubber gutter covered over tape.

All you need is the light and brackets (I think). I order my brackets from relentless fabrication. I think there prettyt cool and gives the truck a good look. Once I have all the parts I need, I will install.

    Check out the document.

new guy here, but have been looking at a solution for this for awhile now, trying to be prepped for when truck arrives next month. My big thing is no new unnecessary holes and for me Relentless Fabrication has the most thought out solution for the double cab folks. The double cabs have holes in the roof already for the roof racks and Relentless has utilized those mount points in there design there by eliminating the need to drill your roof or window post. I respect them because they make themselves available to talk to via phone which is good because I had a lot of questions.

Well the relentless brackets arrived i ordered the bare ones. So far slighlty dissapointed in the material finish out and the fact that the bends were corner drilled and the 'STRUCTURAL' peice that was added serves no purpose. Corner gussets would have been very useful on the roof mount as well as the two bends The folks there seamed really nice when i spoke with the but the product itself is going to need alot of work to make it right. I understand now why there are no additional or full installed pics available. Unfortunatley/fotunatley my truck isnt here so i hopefully can correct the errors in design and be ready reasonably soon.

Even in the state they are in i still prefer it to drilling massive holes in the windsheil pillars and using rivnuts (which are not designed for how the other folks use them)
