    Math done, @jberry813 is right.

The failed assumption on my part is that spring length at ride height doesn't change with pre-load.

I ran the non resi fronts with just stock tires and 285/75/r16. Standard 650 spring with them.

I run the current resi with 700 springs. But also have full skids, winch, bumper, and going to have dual batteries too.

As for threads...whatever icon ships them at. Somewhere around 10-15 is the best I could see in a picture I have on my phone

Oh cool. Reminds me of something I did to one of my old tuner cars. Used an old throttle body, attached a cable, and made a goofy lock lever that ran inside the cab. When the lever was pulled it would dump the exhaust before the cat becoming an open header. The only issue I ran into was figuring a way to switch the tuning map on the fly. Lookin forward to hear how it goes, sounds like a fun project to mess with.

    Tomorrow's task: Swearing at rivets

Tips I've read so far. Any other advice?
    -Grind rivet heads flush
-Run a pilot hole, finish with a 1/2" (cobalt)
    -Use ample cutting fluid
-Use a jack to help hold the drill
-Knock rivets out with pencil point air hammer.
    -Beer

Dirty light saber if you have one. I hear it makes short work of rivets. Take pics and post in here please! I'll be doing that mod next month.

I've had a CL alert setup for awhile, even heavily used setups hold their value. I'm probably hold out to find one at an estate sale and get it for nothing. :spy:

    K. There was actually snorkel conversation going on prior to my posts, so I brought this up, and then people jump in to just say 'its worthless, it wont work, its a waste of money' with about zero proof. Thats not even constructive criticism, thats just douchebaggery at it finest so look in a fuckin mirror before you get all up on your high horse. I came to this forum to share ideas and have a good atmosphere, not have every little thing ever said turn into a fight. You must be in the crowd that misses Gabriel.

I'll be running nearly the identical set up if my shocks ever get here. Extended travel Icon coil overs non resi up front with custom length Icon resi's in the rear to be paired with Dakar leafs. Keep us posted how you like the set up. I have all the parts sitting in my garage waiting fr the shocks.

Indeed. Please do the same. I have yet to order- will likely order this week.

How long did they take to come in?

You using the entire leaf pack, removing 3rd spring or top overload? My concern is just dont want to crank down the spring to much- to match rear height. What tire size?
