I didn't ask, as I didn't really care, but I'm sure my bar is made in China. My thought is unless you are doing the Baja 1000 or weekly heavy-duty wheeling, less expensive LED lighting is acceptable. I can purchase three of the units I have for the same money as one of the name brand units, so if the ones I have last for a few years, I'm happy, and I'm also happy with the light output.....

I got the 4D, great light, nice and bright. can't compare it to one of the high-end bars, but I'm happy!. @Jake Long15 is great to deal with too!

Hey Jake, will you guys be making or partnering with someone to make a bracket to mount a LED bar on the OEM roof rack?

$100 Ebay/Amazon 4D Phillips 5W LED chips. Self tapping screw straight into crash cans with supplied mounts. Will see how they hold up, may replace mounting with well/jack nuts. May also need to aim higher? Running Phillips Ultinon LEDS for HL/Fog.

Can anybody recommend a 20", double-row bar that has an amber cover? I know a lot of bars have amber lights now, but I love the look of an amber light bar (when it's off). Plus the ability to take it off for white light is a plus.

I can't seem to find one anywhere. A double-row of KC Flex lights would be the perfect solution, but I don't feel like taking out a second mortgage to pay for them. But I'd also like to avoid basement-bargain knockoffs too.

    Gracias.

I like my OffroadLEDs.com bar. And I believe the rigid covers fit

Never heard of them, but they look good. I like the price-point. I'll look for confirmation that the Rigid covers fit.

One thing though - I would be mounting on a BAMF grill bar, and I believe they say 20" is about the max. This bar is 21.5", but I wonder if I could fudge it.

edit: 21.5" should fit no problem

I liked it but I'm picky an didn't like the two different color amber well the rigid covers are more yellow than amber but other than that it was great.
