You got bent over as much as anyone else will right now (minus a few lucky ones). There is strong demand and people willing to pay MSRP so until inventory catches up wouldn't expect much off MSRP anywho. Maybe in a year or two as is the case as before got $2.5k off on my 15 new. Dealers will profit as much as they can right now, you should hear some of the ridiculous trade in offers too. Scum bags. Part of why I believe in just a set price like any other consumer good and eliminate the whole BS of dealers, but that's another discussion.

Me and a few others have had sh*t trade offers, I was offered $26k for my 2015 TRD Sport DCLB with 3'' lift (not spacer) and 285's. I laughed and told them to kick rocks.

Exactly, KBB trade in Fair was $28.5k. That shit pisses me off, they wanted MSRP and to bend me over on my trade.

You are paying 3500 to 3900 tax and licensing so that's not a bad deal. Is it just an SR5 or OR or Sport?

You would be better off selling it yourself. Dealers are not going to give you the true value of your truck. This is how they make their money. They won't give you shit for your truck and then sell you a truck for MSRP not to mention the money they give you for your truck won't pay off the balance which will require you to add that negative balance to your new truck. It sucks but that is how the game is played. Good luck

I really should not even be reading this section.
I placed my order on a new Tacoma last week.
If I start seeing some incredible discounts, all its going to do is piss me off.

So far those incredible discounts are in Carolinas, Mass, Tx an FL. A dealer in Ohio is selling for invoice, but I think he charges TDA. I don't know what his doc fees are either.

Very familiar. The value of my truck is easily $31k, the part that pissed me off was offering me $2k under trade in value as they will turn around and sell it for $32k, making $6k in profit and then another $3-5k in profit and holdback selling me the new truck at MSRP. Thats not negotiating thats robbery. I'll wait it out still love my 2015. See what 17 and 18 have in store.

yeah its a regional offer. OK, AR, TX, MS, LA

I would bet most dealers honor that though. I have used regional offers from other areas, to buy new vehicles all the time. Anyone paying MSRP has to be a little lost. Its not that hard to negotiate.

I just purchased mine last week. I played 3 dealers back and forth 1 couldn't compete with the other 2, but I got a TRD Sport w/Tech Package (non JBL), tow package, the paint protection crap (they wouldn't sell it without it) - out the door with 4.5% sales tax included for $34.6k. MSRP/sticker price on it was $36k, so I think I did pretty well on it.

Granted this is Alabama, part of South East Toyota. Now they did try to get me on the financing (I have above average credit - 740 score) and they wanted 3.75% on 60 months. My local credit union gave it to me at 1.99%.
