Predator Side Steps are showing as R6 on the list.
I just ordered my truck and they listed them in the order form as R4
Does anyone know why the numbers are not the same?

they tend to have aftermarket parts that are not Toyota factory parts and they make up their own option codes.

Ordered my 16 TRD OR DCSB 4x4 Auto with premium/tech w/ JBL, tow package, tonneau, clear bra, etc, the 600 dollar toyota package of useless roadside assist/whatever else, and roof rack.

    3150 off "MSRP"
+ 1000 more off MSRP for Military

We get trade-in credit on our "ad valorem" aka GA car sales tax/registration in one charge. So saving almost another 2000, coming even with a private party KBB on my 14 Taco.

MSRP is somewhere around 40,500 to 41,000 with all the add-ons. SE Toyota charges around 930 and the dealer charges around 700 for paperwork BS.

I know this is very debatable, depends on what package you get along with what truck you get, but you see post that says "I think I got a good deal, xx off of MSRP or Xx above invoice. I know it depends on where you purchased it from. Now the simple question. "What is fair to dealer, but still a good price". Let's list it with below MSRP and a price.
Example. 35,000 MSRP good price on west cost is 1000.00 below, or mid west 500 below. I'm just curious as to what is a fair price to dealers and us. I'm sure there will be a big spread depending on location.

Picked up a 2016 TRD Sport 4x4 DCSB in magnetic gray with the tech & performance package, tonneau cover, and tow package. Suggested total retail price was 38,260, no mark ups, got 1000 off. After trade-in, some cash down payment, and then tacking on the extended warranty brought it out to 31,000. This was on Oahu. Was very happy with the whole process, I got very lucky getting this truck as 4x4 fly off the shelf before they ever see the lot here.

yeah I don't miss that GA ad valorem tax. back in the mid 80's tags on a new Cressida was like $400 for the first year. I think this year my tags were $122 and that included the personal plate fee of $25.

First time posting, been lurking for a while though. Thanks to everyone on this forum for posting such a wealth of knowledge.

Just ordered my Tacoma today. Getting a DC AT TRD Sport 4x4 v6 in gray with towing pkg, black side tube, and premium tech pkg. Not sure I got an amazing price but from what I've heard and read, you really don't have much leverage on these trucks. $38900 including TTL.

Anyways, I look forward to learning more on here and contributing where I can.
