I would consider this route if it weren't for the damn hassle of still needing to black out the grill trim! And no, buying a SR trim is not an option…they want over $300 up here in Canada lol

I saw them on eBay for $95. Not sure if they ship to Canada though.

Yeah, I think I saw the same one, but with shipping and currency, it worked out to just under $200

Just got the Grill and Skid installed by Dan at his shop yesterday.
No fitment issues. Take your time installing the grill and follow the steps they provide to ensure your grill comes out fine.
Contact Dan: racing@rad-industries.com if you are interested in purchasing any items. Rad Industries provides great service and will help you out with any concerns.

Looks nice. Mine should show up early this week and I have Quicksand as well. Curious, did you paint your chrome bezel black or did you order the SR bezel? Seems to match the black on the grille very well.

Plastidipped it, 6 coats. Going to ride around with it like this for awhile, if it starts to peel off ill probably go the SR Bezel route.

Looks great! Can't wait for mine to arrive. I think I'm going to try and plastidip my TOYOTA letters white and see how it looks:) I see you got the skid plate also. Did you have to modify the license plate bracket at all?

OR does come with a skid plate but no where near as stout as any aftermarket skid out there right now.

Yes it is modified from the original design. Original works only if you plan on not having a front plate or some trimming of the plate to make it fit. I had RAD fit up the same design on the truck and trimmed it down to keep the plate intact. This will probably be an option in the future if more are interested in the skid.

Have someone wrap the chrome surround. Dan did that to my truck and it's been perfect. I don't have to worry about rock chipping any paint. Any quality wrap shop should be able to do it cheaper than buying a new trim.

Looks pretty good but would you mind posting another picture taken from a slightly higher angle and close up? It looks like there are a couple gaps along the bottom edge from the cut-outs for fitting around the outer surround. See the circled area in your picture.
