    Since the 3rd gen doesn't have front rail, is everyone just mounting under the front cap? And are you facing them down like if there was a rail or facing them straight out toward the tailgate?

    The 3rd gen has a square aluminum tube in place of the front tie down rail. I'd recommend the light strip be installed under the rail and not facing back.

    Ordered my warm whites this week, received in 2 days, and installed today, had a buddy help me and it took us about an hour and a half, that was being tedious with running/securing the power wire. Directions were perfect and install went smooth. This is one of the better purchases I have made, they look great. I have an aftermarket trifold cover and the lights don't interfere at all. PERFECT SET-UP!!! My buddy wants a set for his F150.image.jpg

    Matt,

    My truck should arrive in the next few weeks and your kits look great. A few questions:
    1. Did you ever have a chance to look at tying this to the OEM bed light? Given that my truck isn't here yet, I assume the OEM light is tied to a switch in the cab?
    2. Is the OEM bed light closer to a warm or cool white? I haven't seen any pictures with your lights and the OEM bed light on at the same time. Do they contrast with each other?
    3. Did I understand correctly that you have instructions for both a tailgate switch as well as the standard push button or rocker? Any chance that you could send them my direction?

    I have not been able to work on a 2016 yet, hopefully soon.

    The cool white is close to the OEM LED cargo lights

    can it be tied into rear dome light? Want switch to turn it all on the same? Surely you can tie in in the fuse block or add a switch inside. Thanks and those look sweet
