I wish you would have said something. We could have gone to the range and I would have let you try a few of mine. My EDC is a Springfield XDS in 45 cal and a Ruger LCP in 380. Both are under an inch thick and can be carried without imprinting easily. There are several more slim models out there to consider. Anyway it gods you will like you Sig. And if you door for some reason, let me know. We can work something out.

 

A 9 was my original plan. I didn't want to go larger than that....but they didn't have any ambidextrious models.

 

Hk usp is ambidextrous. That's what I carry. Their are also a few more. I have also learned to use my left index finger to work with most right handed pistol.

But like Warren said. You should Have said something! !

 

It's also fun to go to gun shops and ask for lifted handed pistols.

 

I went to Cabelas, to try and feel the guns.....they had 1 lefty and it was a 22 revolver. They had nothing.

 

Where did you end up buying from?

 

I had been researching them and whatnot....and yesterday I said, good aa day as any to buy one,so I did. I plann to carry this one in the truck; research what all options I have for one that feels comfortable and right in my left hand.

Eh, that's a decent store. But they don't have a variety. If you want a pistol. Go to a gun shop, they have more of a selection. If not a gun show.

 

Try and find as many as you can that you can hold and get a feel for the grip, weight, sight line up, etc. Then when you have it narrowed down to a few options, find a gun range that rents handguns. It will give you the opportunity to shoot BEFORE you buy. Or ask in here, we may have what your looking at already.
