I've seen a few posts, but not true answer. I have a seat of WarmSeats which have the typical round 2 way rocker. Anyone have any experience wiring up something of the sort to an OEM or OEM looking switch? (Purchased separately of their heated seat elements.)

Heated seats are already installed and working, but want a cleaner switch.

There are a lot of switches of sale. Are you looking for something to go into your stock switch bays??

I've seen them on ebay before, or you could always go OEM but it will likely be $$$

I've done a %$!X* load of research on this and after having the same problem with my heated heats (round switches) I used some Cherry 3 way (hi -off - low) switches I had kicking around that fit perfectly in the blanks below the HVAC dials (adjacent to Aux / USB port) and they look 99% OEM (no light comes on when they are on). They had 3 prongs on them while my heated seats had 4 wires. After experimenting for awhile I found that one wire was for the Hi - Low coloured LED for the round switches so I just didn't connect them to my Cherry switches.

I would not recommend the above route as it's a lot of work and led t a couple blown fuses. Better yet you can get these on ebay that fit perfectly - just do a search for a seller of the switches or a seller of the heated seats that offer those switches and ask them if they would sell you the switches separate.

Here is a link to a kit with those switches:

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/150972776114?rmvSB=true

A couple of Tacomaworld members used those kits with good results as detailed in this thread:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/anyone-tried-this-brand-of-seat-heater.358256/

    Good luck.

Not sure how I should interpret that. I don't want to sound like a redneck, but do you not like women?

I think this is my picture...regardless this is my setup. Heaters work really well. I installed the wiring but had a local upholstery shop install the heating elements. It is one of the eBay kits with the factory looking switches. Wiring the switches to illuminate correctly to dim with the interior is different than what's on the wiring diagram.

But I'm pleased. It's hot when desired and the 4-5 settings of warmth are nice.

That's the switches I use and it is nice being able to set the heat level exactly where you want it. Also your profile pic make me laugh... That's the look I get when my dog is guilty of something.

Not thoroughly haha. Sorry. I just saw the links. I've been looking into buying another kit for my wife's Liberty and just swapping the switches actually, just not sure if connections are the same. They could he hardwired. Or even just put into another switch. We'll see.
