@SixthSnail was the test drive just for funzies? And does that mean you'll be looking now for a 4runner instead of a double cab?

Just for fun. Wanted to play with the new toys. The problem with the runner is price. I want the trail edition and there aren't any used ones out there. If the dealer decided to drop 9-10 grand off the price, I'd have a hard time saying no.

I think I'd still buy a second gen Tacoma over a 3rd though.

Get AppleTV then you can watch it without needing cable.

    Love the desert tan.

The dealer said that the pros sell so fast that they've added a 5k premium to them and now they are around 53k after fees.

    Yeah.

The trail is nice. Most of the same features for 13k less.

If I got the base model and paid cash, I could actually almost afford the price they gave me for it after I sold my truck. Slightly tempting. But I still wouldn't know.

They said paying cash gets you a lot of wiggle room on the price. The base model doesn't have a locker or crawl control but locker is something I could add and crawl control seems like something I wouldn't use.

Oh, I'm down for that. I've been wanting to do that for a while. Even bought a large trash can for it.

Hey Corey be careful how you mount Those lights! I took mine off today and they are DESTROYED. Whole housing is cracked one mount snapped off.

    Pretty angry

Probably need some kind of a rubber bushing
