I bought a sub from them. It will take a while on shipping, probably two weeks, because they don't have anything in stock, they have to order it from their distributor or the manufacturer. So if your in a hurry, no the place to buy.

If you want loud at a decent price, get type r's. If you want loud and good sq, get AQ subs.

That package deal, with the subs, box, and amp seems like a heck of a deal though.

I'd ask them how much for the box on it's own. That's a heck of a deal though even if you were to throw the subs away; which you might want to do.

Keep in mind that the amp on that package is USED (read refurbished) so I think that's how they got the price down.

I think a box like that with two good subs would be great.

if you want the best performance, see if you can some how build a ported box;)

I didn't see that the amp is refurbished, but they can't sell you an amp that doesn't work, right? If so, I wouldn't be too worried about it.

What if he did a single ported Dayton HO in a ported box from Marv? I think those don't need a terribly large box and they mounting depth is right at 5". That with about 400RMS on tap would sound really good.

yes, those subs are designed for small boxes. Put one in a 1.3 sq ft box tuned to 30-32hz would be awesome.
