That's what I'm curious about, though. Does it repel snow and debris or just collect it so that you can wash it off at the end of the season?

Confused? Why would you want help in collecting snow and debris on your truck?

    Fixed this.

Definitely not. Is it rebuildable or revalvable? Not if it is based on a 5100. Does it have upper and lower heims. Doesn't look like it.

    Thanks haha

That's what I was trying to lean towards. But you have more knowledge on adjustable coilovers than I do.

Oh I see. I guess I heard wrong then.

Knowing this... No way would I buy them. Way to much money for a 5100.

Ground down a 11/16 wrench so I could properly tighten the front swaybar end links. The Moog end links have flats on the"inside" and because of the flange on the lower control arm a regular wrench wont fit.

So my buddy has 5 bfg good rich tires that are 33x12.5r17. He moved up to 35in. Tires are 70-80% left and the 5th is brand new. He's letting me have them for free. I looked and it seems as though 3.5-3.75 is the ideal backspacing to run for 33x12.5. I currently have 16in wheels so will be needing to get new rims. Is a 17x8 with -10mm offset and 4.1 backspacing equivalent to a 8in wheel 0 offset with 3.5-3.75 backspacing? Will the 17x8 -10mm 4.1in backspacing work?

Offset and backspacing go hand and hand. Back spacing is the distance from the wheel mounting surface to back of the wheel. Offset is how far that mounting surface is away from the middle of the wheel.

Yes pretty much. The other is a good lift as well. Some use the 5100 and the right OME coil to make the lift. OME makes the dakars as well. OME shocks are a twin tube design while bilstein is a monotube. Supposedly the monotube is a better design. But both are good shocks

Some do say that the OME coils will work better with there shocks since they were design to be used together instead of with the 5100s.

If your getting a bumper 882 or 883 coils. 883 coils are as tall as the 881 coils however they have a higher spring weight. 882 coils are 10mm higher but have the same spring weight as 881. I have 883 coils and they work fine, however possibly in the future I might try 882 to see the difference.
